The month of May turned out to be a great month for fantasy role-players in Second Life®. Today is the last day to visit Fantasy Faire, but there are many other events just starting or running until the end of the month. We <3 Role-Play is celebrating its 7th anniversary with great gifts and sales. Hard to believe the Good Gorean has been covering this event for the last seven years - this project continues to be very dear to me as I personally saw it born, grow and thrive. For us, role-players, We <3 Role-Play has become a staple on our avatar needs, and continues to shine a spotlight on new talents. Many fantasy merchants across the grid have successfully used this platform to promote their stores and merchandise; they also have become our new favorites. “Kitsune Folktales,” is the theme for this month’s round of Enchantment. Kitsune, the Japanese word for Fox, is a commonly associated with mysticism and mystery. Often portrayed as faithful guardians, friends or lovers, folktales often speak of the shape-shifting and paranormal abilities of these highly intelligent beings. The more tails a kitsune has, the older, wiser and more powerful it is. My Pani fantasy was only complete by pairing some of Tentacio’s new releases. I was also able to put together a second look for my journey by using items from the “Hiriko” and “Le Fleur” Collections available at the Kinky and The Epiphany events. Beautiful hair pins, flower crowns and other accessories added high-spirited spring colors to today’s wardrobe of choice.
