Role-play is big in Second Life. Not only there are different genres of role-play but hundreds of regions across this platform. If you want to stand out, offer easy access to residents and attract more visitors, consider listing your region in Second Life’s Destination Guide – it’s easy and free. The website is often visited by senior residents and potential new members that might join right away when they glance over your sim in Destination Guide's directory. Scroll down on the Destination Guide website and find the "Suggest a Destination" button on the left.

Many Second Life bloggers seek unique sims to use as background for their photos and some are willing to write articles about these locations (The Good Gorean is one of them). Invite your favorite blogger to come visit your masterpiece and give her/him access to your parcel. Sim owners should request for the guest blogger to wear an out-of-character tag and avoid interaction to on-going role-play or combat. For a role-play review, bloggers should engage role-play for a realistic review – you shouldn’t make the statement that role-play is great at the sim X, if you never role-played with the community that you are writing about.
