It’s time to make room for new merchandise and today (Wednesday, Jan. 23), is the last day for shoppers to visit the December/January round of the Uber event. I love purchasing versatile accessories and clothing in Second Life® and the “Mara” outfit from The Forge is a perfect example of Linden™ dollars well spent - “Mara” can be easily worn in a sci-fi, medieval or gorean role-play sims if your choice of character allows you to show off some skin. There is always the possibility of pairing this Forge’s design with leggings, pants and an undershirt for a more conservative look. If you missed Uber, check The Forge main store in a couple of weeks. After the events close for the month, creators usually transfer products to their stores. If you still can’t find it, message the store owner – Deccan is a pretty cool guy.
Speaking of versatility, are you ready for a giveaway? How does $L1000 sound to you? Since I’m still testing the waters of giveaways in the blog, for my January giveaway, I’ve decided to give a $L cash prize instead of a gift card. No strings attached – I will gift $L1000 to the winner’s piggy bank. To win this pleasant chunk of change, all you have to do is to comment this post with the following information:
- Name your favorite role-play store in Second Life® (Gorean, GoT, Victorian, ancient empires or sci-fi role-play themed merchandise stores only) and why is your #1 choice to shop for role-play products;

At the moment my favorite shop is Jeanette's Joint (~JJ~) as it offers interesting fantasy (mermaids, lamia, wooden driada, metallic human etc) and sci-fi skins of great quality, options for awesome price.

At the moment, my favorite store would have to be Junbug (owned by Juno Mantel). While it can be hard to find medieval themed dresses that are not on the extreme side of revealing, it is easy to find such elegant dresses within Junbug. I have been a fan of theirs for quite some time and with each dress that is released, the style just keeps on getting better. And while their clothing is simple outstanding, the customer service side of the store is just as splendid. Quite some time ago, I had gone to their in-world store in hopes of purchasing a recently released dress, only to find that it was not within the store. Upon contacting the owner, I was able to purchase the dress directly, and along with such help, they also offered kind advice on what colors would suit my avatar. With kind customer service, fantastic prices, and beautifully done medieval dresses, I doubt I would want to shop anywhere else to find medieval themed merchandise!

I think the Muses is my favorite store for fantasy, Gorean, and Medieval outfits. There are plenty of great ones, but that one has a lot of different versatile items.
{Lore} is my favorite furniture store. Many of their pieces I can take across different genres as well as being very low prim but pretty!
