I’m celebrating hump day by going to the deep ends of the alternative reality, Earth-616, with my Marvel-inspired character, Elizabeth “Betsy” Braddock aka Psylocke - some of you might recognize this character as Captain Britain from Marvel’s UK imprints. I am an absolute comic book geek and when the mood strikes, it transpires in my Second Life’s avatar in one way or another. The new and not-so-new bundle of merchandise from VoluptasVirtualis, The Forge and Wicca’s Originals turned my vision into reality (virtual reality) and almost made me want to watch the X-Men movie series all over again. Speaking of, have you watched X-Men: Dark Phoenix? If you think of yourself as the ultimate X-Men fan, just don’t. It’s a brain meltdown.
A few of my favorites fashion events are back. If you are currently looking for something new in your fantasy wardrobe, you MUST check out these events:
The Trunk Show – Not really a fantasy/role-play event but you can find GORGEOUS gowns here.
Hair Fair 2019 – Yup, it started!
Spellbound – Beautiful role-play items.
Redeux – The August round ends today. Make sure you visit this event ASAP.
ROMP – All-things bondage can be found here!
Fable – Gachas, 10L specials, and much more.
Enchantment - King Arthur is the theme of the August round. Take my money.
Driftwood – It’s dreamy in here. Visit by Sept. 5th.
The Good Gorean has been quite active on Twitter. Every other day, I take some time to visit new role-play sims, give a Twitter shout-out as a way to promote these groups and let the world see how Second Life is a beautiful and awesome virtual world to play in. If you are interested in a tweet shout-out, contact me (PewPew Zero) and I will come by, snap a picture and send out a tweet – all role-play regions are welcome and the same invitation extends to fantasy stores and events that seek advertisement. As I’ve mentioned before, my Twitter account is brand new but blog guests will have immediate access to my tweets by viewing the side bar.
To celebrate my new social media channel, I am offering a 1000L gift card so you can enjoy a shopping spree at The Forge. To enter this giveaway, you must complete all of the following requirements:
1. Follow The Good Gorean on Twitter
2. Retweet the giveaway post with a comment on what you would like to purchase at The Forge. A new weapon? A new outfit? Spill the beans!
The winner will be announced on Sunday, Aug. 25, in the blog, all of The Good Gorean’s social media channels, and The Good Gorean group in Second Life. Good luck!!!
