The Druid Staff

Yesterday when i started to snapping pictures of this amazing set i was wearing i started to think about if Staff/Walking Sticks are really mentioned in the Gorean Saga by John Norman. In the recent fantasy fashion events there has been several designers putting their brains in building these and of course they are totally accepted in several kinds of fantasy roleplay but what about gor? Is it ok to wear a staff while roleplaying in gor or it's just one more aspect of the "Disney" gor?

Amazingly enough, i was able to find a brief quote in reference to staff/walking sticks in the books and my interpretation of it comes to the fact that staff were used as weapons (like it should be) and a way to hide objects like daggers and swords. It is also mentioned that staff were used to hide other items like builders' glasses, sun chronometers, and compasses. So my dear gorean people, it is OK to wear staff plus you can create a interesting roleplay all around it.

The amazing staff i'm featuring below comes from Alchemy for the We <3 Role-Play Event and immediately caught my attention for all the details in it. The package brings 3 versions of the staff: 2 with animations and 1 to wear on your back. Super cute and super fun to have!
