Second Life® 18th Birthday Celebrations Coming Soon
Hosting one of the biggest events in Second Life® takes a lot dedication, and we certainly appreciate all the time and hard work put into the big bash of 2021. Back in March, SL18B had open applications for performers and exhibitors – volunteers and merchants are now welcome to apply and be part of SL™'s birthday celebrations. SL18B Shop and Hop application can be found HERE, and for those who would like to help and are able to commit to a training and two-hour shifts during the event can apply HERE. The event will bring 20-plus regions of unique gifts, new merch, live music and number of events that will keep residents busy and partying from Saturday, June 17 to Thursday, July 1. More updates and announcements will be released on Second Life®'s official blog.
SL18B Shop & Hop Applications Now Open!
IApp, UApp, Nobody Apps
In a recent blog post, Apps, Consoles and the Future of Role-play in Second Life®, I shared my thoughts on how important it is for Second Life® to have official app and reach its full potential. I had hopes to receive good news in a near future at the time I published that blog post, but unfortunately this project has been delayed once again. According to last week's Web User Meeting, the lab is now working on “issues that need to be addressed internally.”
