We are slowly approaching the end of the month. It’s time to say goodbye to some events and waiting to see what July has to offer. Driftwood and We <3 Role-play had fantastic rounds and I had to share few more of the treasures available at both of the events.

SL16B seems to have the spotlight these days. There are many ongoing events, great shopping and many quality gifts waiting for you. The” Meet the Lindens” sessions have also been very popular over the years, inviting residents to join and meet Second Life’s staff throughout the festivities. SL16B’s auditorium has received Director of Product Operations Patch Linden; Second Life Engineering, Lab’s Senior Director Oz Linden and Systems Engineering Manager April Linden; Linden Lab’s CEO Ebbe Altberg aka Ebbe Linden; Lead Community Manager Xiola Linden and Marketing Content Specialist Strawberry Linden; and members of the Linden Department of Public Works – the sessions not only offered residents more clarity on current matters but what the future might bring for Second Life.

"Kösem Sultan (c. 1589 – 2 September 1651) – also known as Mahpeyker Sultan – was one of the most powerful women in Ottoman history. Kösem Sultan achieved power and influenced the politics of the Ottoman Empire when she became Haseki Sultan as favourite consort and later legal wife of Ottoman Sultan Ahmed I. Kösem lived in the Ottoman Empire as a courtier during the reign of six sultans: Ahmed I, Mustafa I, Osman II, Murad IV, Ibrahim, and Mehmed IV. After her death, she was known by the names "Valide-i Muazzama" (magnificent mother), "Valide-i Matule" (murdered mother), and "Valide-i Sehide" (martyred mother)."
